About These Terms

These terms apply to your use of this website and to any appointment you book with Maverick Grooming Studio or Lavish Hair & Beauty. By using the site or booking a service, you agree to them. Maverick and Lavish are two independently run businesses sharing one studio address at 130 Allitsen Road, St John's Wood, London NW8 7AU — where a term applies to one studio specifically, it says so.

Appointments & Bookings

Appointments can be booked online, by phone, by WhatsApp, or in person as a walk-in where the schedule allows. A booking is confirmed once we've acknowledged it by phone, email or WhatsApp — an enquiry sent through the website isn't itself a confirmed appointment until we've responded.

Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time. Arriving significantly late may mean a shorter version of your service to avoid delaying other clients, or may require rebooking, at the studio's discretion.

Cancellations & No-Shows

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule, by phone or WhatsApp, so the slot can be offered to another client. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect our ability to offer you future bookings.

Pricing & Payment

Prices shown on this website are indicative. The exact price of a service is confirmed at consultation, as it can depend on hair length, condition, or the specific work involved. Both studios accept card and cash payment, taken at the studio at the time of your appointment unless agreed otherwise.

Gift Vouchers

If either studio offers gift vouchers, terms (validity period, refundability and redemption) will be confirmed at the point of purchase. Contact us directly for current availability.

Treatment Suitability

Please tell us about any allergies, skin or scalp conditions, pregnancy, or other medical considerations relevant to your appointment before treatment begins, particularly for colour, tinting, waxing and facial services. Where a patch test is standard practice for a treatment, your therapist will confirm what's needed and how much notice it requires.

Right to Refuse Service

We may decline or discontinue a service where it isn't safe to proceed (for example, an unsuitable skin or scalp condition), or where a client's behaviour towards our team or other clients is abusive or threatening.

Website Use

The content, design and images on this website belong to Maverick Grooming Studio & Lavish Hair & Beauty or are used under licence, and may not be copied or reused without permission. You agree not to misuse the site — for example by attempting to disrupt it, submit false information through the enquiry form, or access it in a way not permitted by these terms.

Liability

We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under English law. Beyond that, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or a booked service.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time — for example if either studio introduces a deposit or gift voucher scheme. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest version.
